Why Success Requires You to Be a Robot

I talk about mindset a lot on my podcast, Master Your Mission. I’ve said before that I think it’s the single most important factor to your success.

It’s the one thing that can either keep you locked in a state of fear and immobility or free you and allow you to go hard for your dreams. Your education can’t do that, money can’t do that, your circumstances can’t do that—nothing else has the kind of power over your life that your mindset has.

Your tenacity and ability to keep going through all the tough things you experience in life, are a result of your mindset. When your mindset is that you are fully committed, even when you’ve failed every day in the past and don’t know what tomorrow holds, you still get up and act on your wants and desires because you believe that someday something will be different.

When you have a mindset for success, your drive is unquestionable. Success driven people often operate with an, almost, robotic...

Do You Believe You Can Manifest Success?

I believe that being a great entrepreneur and being a great person, in general, requires that we dig really deep and tap into the power that our brains hold to affect what we are, who we are, and what we accomplish in life. We know that the brain is powerful beyond what we even fully understand, and that science is continuously discovering things about how it works.

But is the brain powerful enough to will what we want to happen? Can we use our brains to manifest our own success in life?

According to The Law of Attraction, there is some scientific research that supports the idea that our thoughts directly affect the level of satisfaction we reach in life. But if we can manifest what we want by our thoughts, how do we do that?

In an article on their website, The Law of Attraction gives 5 steps to manifest anything you want in 24 hours or less. Here’s what they say you should do:

Step 1

Decide what you want to manifest. Be very specific and be sure that it’s something that...

Money is NOT Evil!

I want to talk about something that I posted on my social media today. I posted it because I was thinking about a comment someone made on another post of mine while back.

It was a comment on a video I posted on my Instagram—I can’t remember what the video was—but someone commented on the video in agreement and said something like, “Yeah I agree. Money is the root of all evil”.

*blank stare*

I mean, first of all, whatever the hell I was talking about in the video, that person seriously misunderstood. I certainly didn’t mean to convey a negative message regarding money. Since then that comment has kind of bothered me and I’ve been wanting to talk about it here.

The reason is because so many people have been ingrained to believe that the meaning behind that saying is that money, itself, is evil. I’ve heard it time and time again.

It’s a shining example of how a limiting belief can keep you stuck in a poor...

How the Lack of Confidence Affects You as an Entrepreneur

Confidence is important in life and in entrepreneurship. Most people have moments in life where they lack confidence and others moments where they overflow with confidence.

Things happen in life that affect how we feel about ourselves. Sometimes bad things happen in our lives that break us down and leave us feeling uncertain about our own self worth or our ability to do what’s hard and unknown. Other times, great things happen that reinforce the good thoughts we have about ourselves, making us certain that we can accomplish whatever we dream.

All of these thoughts play into how we perform as entrepreneurs. When things are great in your life and your confidence is through the roof, that can show in your business. Similarly, when things aren’t so great in your life or you just lack confidence, that shows up in your business too.

It’s important to be able to identify some of the ways that the lack of confidence can manifest itself so that you know how...

66 Days of Positive Thinking?

As you may very well know, today marked day one of my 66 Days of Bold Action Challenge. I have a great tribe of Goal Getters who are all in the Challenge pushing themselves to accomplish a major goal they have.

And today, I pushed myself way outside of my comfort zone and introduced myself to 3 new people. Here’s a picture for proof!

So one thing that I know from the first time that I did this Challenge, is that every day won’t be easy. It will most certainly get difficult to stay motivated to keep going.

Keeping the right mindset and thinking positive thoughts is crucial to getting through this Challenge. And when things aren’t going exactly as you would want them to go, that’s when you need to be positive the most.

As I always say, positivity is a choice—which means, so is negativity. You have to actively choose to think positive thoughts, which takes a ton of effort.

To help you choose positive thoughts, I thought we could revisit...

Hi, I'm KP The Worrying Warrior

I’m a fighter. I don’t mind going after what I want in life because I’m just one of those people who don’t do well in unhappiness. When I’m unhappy with something, it nags at me and nags at me until I just have to do something about it.

And I think one of my best qualities is that I’m resilient af. When my mind is made up about something, it’s almost impossible to get me to stop pursuing whatever that thing is.

But. As much as I’m a fighter, I’m also a worrier. It may be the Capricorn in me who always has to have a plan for every single thing, and then a backup plan for the plan, and a backup plan for the backup plan, but when I’m focused on something, I’ll think through every possible scenario that could possibly occur.

The problem with that is that sometimes that can backfire on me. Sometimes thinking through every possible scenario lands me in a doubtful, negative, pessimistic place that I then have to dig...

You are Not an Imposter!

Have you ever accomplished something that you felt like you didn’t really deserve? I don’t mean in the case that you’re just a humble person or that you were given something you truly didn’t deserve; I mean you worked your ass off and really put in work to get it, only to feel like you didn’t belong among those who had also accomplished that thing.

This can happen when you get a promotion at work, or find success in entrepreneurship, or even when you start a new business. You just have a nagging feeling that you don’t know enough to have accomplished that thing or that you aren’t talented enough to be among the other talented people with whom you are now aligned.

That feeling you experience in those moments is called Imposter Syndrome. We all get it to some degree. Most people get it in small doses for various situations, but some people get it much more severely. It can be so severe that it causes a person to retreat or give up the very...

Be Social on Social - 5 Do's and 5 Don'ts

If you have a business, you are probably using social media to connect with your audience and market your business. If you have an online business, it’s 100% an absolute must.

Here’s why.

According to Hootsuite, in 2019:

  • 3.48 billion people use social media.
  • 69% of adults use social media.
  • 90% of brands use social media to increase brand awareness.
  • More than 40% of digital consumers use social networks to research new brands or products.

So if you aren’t reaching people on social media, you really should be or you could be leaving money on the table—whether your business is online or not.

Most people make the mistake of believing that a large following equates to dollar signs. In other words, people think that the more followers they have, the more money they’ll make. So everyone is on this mad dash to get tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of followers.

A lot of followers don’t always equal a lot of sales but it is...

Do You Even Mind Lift Bro?

No, I’m not talking about some supernatural power of picking things up with your mind and throwing them across the room.

All my gym rats out there may have previously heard the expression, “Do you even lift bro?” Whether you’re a gym rat or not, you probably understand the importance of exercising and eating healthy foods.

Exercising can help you build muscle and replace fat, keep healthy joints, build strength and efficiency in cardiopulmonary function and so much more. Keeping your body in tip top shape so that it performs at a high level means that you eat right, exercise, and even go to the doctor for regular checkups.

When we talk about exercising and taking care of our bodies though, we often forget about the health of one of the most important parts of our bodies—our minds.

When it comes to your mind, do you even lift bro? Are you doing the things you should be doing to care for your mind like you would care for...

Clarity on Clarity on Clarity

I’ve shared a few stories about running a dropshipping business that allowed me to stay hidden in the background and never take the “risk” of putting myself on display for the world to see. I’ve talked about how my focus with that business was solely to make money—which should be the focus of every business—but I didn’t choose to start it based on any particular passion or interest that I had, other than the desire to have an ecommerce business.

I always had a nagging feeling, though, that I should be and could be doing more. I felt like there was something deeper within me that I could be doing to help other people, and that’s when I decided to start my current business helping to motivate other people to follow their dreams. It’s something that I’m actually passionate about, it allows me to authentically share my gifts with the world, and it allows me to do something that could help other people change their...
