10 Affirmations to Keep You Focused on Your Goal

 

I’ve been talking about goals all week, and I’ve been encouraging you to join my 66 Days of Bold Action Challenge — where you’ll take action every day for 66 days toward a goal you have. Whether you join the Challenge or not, working toward your goals is an important part of your personal happiness and growth in life.

Since I’ve already done this Challenge once, myself, I know that there will be ups and downs in those 66 days. There will be days you want to quit. There will be days where you just don’t feel like putting forth any effort. There will be days where you feel like you just aren’t making progress. But you have to stay the course. 

When you don’t have the tools already in place to help you through those rough patches, you may very well give up. That’s why it’s important to have a support system and to be prepared to do the mental work that it will take to get through bad days. You have to actively stay motivated.

As we’ve talked about before here, daily affirmations are a great tool to keep your mind in the game and to stay positive. So I want to share, with you today, 10 affirmations that you can use, to get you through days where you feel like giving up on your goals.

Read them aloud, meditate on them, and believe them.

  1. I am at peace today because I am excited about my future.
  2. My desires and actions are aligned and I am doing my part to change my situation.
  3. I handle all difficulties I encounter with decisive steadfastness.
  4. Great things are in store for me today and in my future.
  5. I am focused and my vision is crystal clear.
  6. I am worthy of living a life of abundant joy.
  7. My current situation does not define me.
  8. Any struggles I currently have are only temporary.
  9. This experience has value, because I have learned so much from it.
  10. I am rich! Rich in health, favor, and love!

So as you work through tackling your goals, try these affirmations and also try coming up with your own. Just always remember that everything is going to be okay as long as you keep going, and do what you have to do to stay positive!
